This morning I watched the sun peak up and awake the city with that beautiful morning light! I thanked my sweet Jesus for another dawn, another day, another birthday...and fell back asleep with a smile. I set sail mid-morning after shaking the sleep from my bones, to meet a sweet sister for coffee and Bible study in the city. Along the way I read the good word, Psalm 17 so wonderfully, and reminders of how He loves us :)

The city is always non-stop, even when winter winds are fierce.

Out of the subway I go...
To a quaint little coffee shop named Haewook to meet my lovely friend.
We share coffee or tea, deep thoughts, and pray. The man who runs the coffee shop is a Christian, and so we hear beautiful worship music as we go about

I love their tea pots here for a single cup!

I'll give you a peak inside...

After time together talking about Jesus, we ate Bi Bim Bop for lunch.
Mmmm..my favorite Korean dish!

At work, I gave my students a little Valentine's Day party. I cut out felt hearts, filled a jar, and had them guess the amount- the winner took home some chocolates! My favorite student gave me a sweet little birthday gift..a lovely notebook and red pens for grading papers! :)
After work..I treated myself, with the blessing help of an awesome sistah who gave me Starbucks money, to a warm spiced vanilla latte to warm my wintery skin..I sat and wrote in my journal thoughts on love..another year..and hopes

Then I met my husband at a little Mexican food hut ran by a Korean man who visited Mexico and loved their food, and decided to open up his own stand..sadly, he's going out of business..but doing so to travel to Europe to learn Italian pasta and French bread making...He told us of his future dreams for an even better little restaurant of three different types of cultural food..yes, please!
