I'm currently in the midst of filming a January/February shopping haul which is huge at the moment so it's taking awhile. It is long overdue, I know but I figured better late than never. However, I thought I'd show you the bags I've gotten in the month of February and have been loving recently. Back in the days I used to 'collect bags', my bag collection was huge but since then, I have moved on to spend more on clothing and have allowed my bag obsession to die off leaving me with hardly any bags which inspired new bag purchases last month. I bought three bags in particular that I wanted to feature on this post. There are all very affordable, has fast shipping to Australia and I'm generally impressed by the quality of them.
My favourite bag is hands down this simple, yet beautiful black beauty from Shein. At $31 (before discount codes!), you simply can't go wrong. the stitching is perfect, the size is perfect for my everyday necessities and then some and of course, that hardware latch-style closure is AMAZING. I can't rave about it enough. I have already recommended it to many of my friends. This is quite possibly my favourite purchase from Shein EVER. Which honestly says a lot considering I love Shein despite the many 'misses' I've have with their clothing products. Unfortunately, this bag is currently sold out on the website but save it in your favourites anyway as Shein often restocks popular products.
Next on my favourites list is this beautiful burgundy smooth pleather bag with a pearl on metal detail. I bought this one for more dressy outfits and was drawn to this due to the deep Burgundy colour which keeps it classy. It was a little pricey for what it is and one of the more expensive products from Shein at $37.
Finally, this navy quilted crossbody bag is from Princess Polly. It is a dupe for the Gucci Marmont Velvet Bag but I bought it because I fell in love with the colour and was on the look out for a larger style bag. The most pricey of the three bags at $65 is justifiable. It is very well made, the stitching is perfect and the hardware feels sturdy. I love the juxtiposition of how dressy this bag is and love to pair it with a casual outfit. My favourite casual outfit to wear it with on a casual day to day is a band tee with leggings.
