Made famous by Kayne West's new Yeezy boots for women, the sock boot is trending fashion item especially with winter season in full swing. It is essentially a pair of boots with stretchy, sock-like, tight fitting around the ankle. And of course, Kim K and the whole Kardashian and posse wore it. They made it the hottest style of boot so all us females are out on the hunt for a less expensive pair. I love how minimalistic sock boots are. It has no zips, no buckles and no fuss. You put it on just like you would a sock and it fits around your ankles perfectly. I dislike boots that do not fit tight around your legs as it makes them look so much bigger than they actually are. Also I heard that the ankles of women, are sexy as hell.

Naturally, if my girl Kendall Jenner is wearing it, I need it! I was browsing through Marks & Spencers, not really looking out for anything in particular, I found a pair of sock boots that I fell in love with at first sight. The price tag topped it off. I wanted a pair for everyday, casual, but can pass off as dressy too. I was looking for something with a heel but not too high that it will cost breaking my feet for. So when I found this pair of deep cobolt blue with a low block heel, I just had to get it! Oh, and did I mention it was the last pair in my size. And at the cost of 149 RM ($47 SGD) on sale- it was meant to be! I know you can get them for cheaper online at shein and stores like that but M&S produces products with quality. And quality when it comes to shoes is definitely essential to me.
I could not find the pair that I bought on the Marks & Spencer website anymore but I have found other affordable pairs of sock boots that you might like to check out and buy. ASOS in my opinion has the best range of sock boots (and everything else in general) so definitely check them out for all their styles. Sock boots come in all sorts of material, the popular ones being suede, velvet and neoprene. They also come in a range of designs such as floral, printed, glitter and metallics. And of course, different heel heights and heel styles.
