The first thing that comes to mind when introducing Singapore to anyone is good food, plenty of shopping and lots of sweat. Having grown up in beautiful Australia, 'the beach' and 'Singapore' do not come to mind naturally. However on weekends when I'm in need of some Vit D, I don't mind paying $7 entry into Sentosa for sun, sand and water. We used to head to Tanjong Beach Club quite often for chilled Sundays but this time, we decided to try out one of the bars along Silosa Beach on Saturday. Situated along Siloso Beach next to Sand Bar and Coastes, is Bikini Bar. That name kind of reminds me of Hawaii. The bar area of Bikini Bar is stunning, I love, love, love the hanging bintang bottles feature. And did I mention- old school tunes. None of that mainstream radio music. Thank the Lord.
They serve delicious food too along side their comprehensive drinks menu which features 2 for $18 Bintang. We ordered tacos, $14++ (2 huge soft shell tacos with generous amount of fillings) and Nachos (big plate, mountain-sized nacho plate with guac, sour cream, tomatoes and meat). Delish!
